HISTORY The Beavercreek Youth Softball Association
was formed in 1983 to promote recreational,
slow-pitch softball for the youth of Beavercreek.
Over the past twenty years, the
program has grown from a small local
activity of a few hundred youth to over a
thousand kids from Beavercreek and the
surrounding communities. For each of the
past five years, the BYSA has registered
over 1400 youth playing on 80 or more
teams.
THE VISION To provide a wholesome summertime
recreational activity that stresses the importance of teamwork and
good sportsmanship not only during game time but in all actions of
one’s life. This vision is clearly captured by the BYSA motto “Fostering teamwork, good sportsmanship, and community spirit.” The BYSA also
promotes responsibility and leadership in youth by employing them as game umpires, field preparation support, and concession stand workers.
SPONSORS The financial support of sponsors is a vital
part of the BYSA success and popularity.
Team sponsors benefit by having their
name and logo printed on player shirts.
Banner sponsors receive publicity by means
of 2' x 3' vinyl banners that are mounted on
the fencing of our ball diamonds during theseason. Banners are stored and made available
for use in future years at a reduced rate.
Our website also has a page to showcase our
sponsors and provide a link to their websites.
Sponsors can also contribute by simple donation.
LEAGUES The program is divided into seven leagues:

ROOKIE LEAGUE for 1st and 2nd-graders
